I ate here twice with a group and 10 years apart. It seems they can't manage a group environment that well. The food is good, and services aren't bad but expected a little attentive.
While in Honolulu for our pre-Christmas vacation, we stopped in at Mangiano’s during lunch. The place is spotless, nice view and has great food too. We had the best customer service from the general manager, Rob Jones! This man hustles to take care of his staff and customers. Rob really took care of us. Thank you so much for your time and attention! Thank you from this most appreciative Canadian! :)
A very relax restaurant and great place to watch sports. Variety of drink options to include daily specials. No wait time and ample parking. Servers were great and and food was delicious. A little pricey on the appetizer but over all fair price.
Mostly delicious, a few misses that could have been just our taste preferences. The kids' meal prices were perfect, which we appreciate as parents. The Creamy Risotto ball appetizer was so good that I wish I had ordered it as my meal! The complimentary bread was sub-par, like a grocery store freezer loaf. It made me worry that the food would follow suit. Thankfully, the bread was not a foreshadowing of what was to come.
The atmosphere would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that 3 times during our visit, cigarette smoke/smell came wafting in through the open patio doors. The restaurant should work with the golf course to prohibit smoking near the building, and if they can't, then the patio doors should remain closed.
It was the perfect place to kill an hour and a half while we waited on some family. Our server Sheila was very friendly and gave us some great advice for places to see and travel tips for the island. When she found out we were celebrating our honeymoon/1 year wedding anniversary she treated us to a special housemade limoncello and a cheesecake, so that was unexpected but made us feel very special. Thanks for the good time 😃
Recommend by friends so I tried it. Disappointed and won't come back, waitress very nice but no refills on water, when pointing out price difference on menu compared to bill said it's an old menu but never adjusted the bill and the food was okay. 6/10
Decent spot to grab a quick meal before a flight. Service was absolutely excellent. Atomosphere as well. Food was average but maybe that is because we only had soup and appetizers.
The food was ok. 17.99 for the smallest bowl of soup, side salad and side of pasta (lunchtime) seems a bit steep. I suppose you’re paying for atmosphere. The server seemed to be distracted with other tables and not very friendly. I want to like this place since it’s convenient, but I don’t know. I’ll try it again in a few months to see how things are then.
